This project centered on formalizing and expanding Grizzly Construction’s brand identity into a structured, professional guidelines document. While the company already had its core visual assets—such as its logo and primary typefaces—the goal was to refine, organize, and expand upon these elements to establish a comprehensive brand system that reflects Grizzly’s core values and professional standards.
The result was a unified brand guidelines packet and brand board that elevated consistency, clarified communication, and aligned the visual identity with the company’s evolving vision.

Information Compilation: Began by gathering all existing brand materials and information from company leadership and online sources. Organized and synthesized this content into a clear, structured format suitable for formal brand documentation.

Guidelines Development: Built out the packet with key sections to define Grizzly’s identity and maintain consistency across all visual and written communication. Added the following new pages:

About Our Company — outlining the mission and vision statements.

Brand Voice & Tone — establishing a clear, professional yet approachable communication style.

Imagery Style & Expectations — setting the visual tone for photography and graphic use.

Logo Guidelines — including spacing, sizing, variation, and misuse instructions.

Color System Expansion — created a new secondary accent palette to complement the neutral grayscale primary palette.

Typography System Update — introduced a serif font to pair with existing sans-serif typefaces, reinforcing a refined, modern aesthetic; also added a list of universal backup fonts for accessibility across platforms.

Legal & Contact Information — provided clear brand usage rights and internal contact references.

Brand Board Creation: Summarized the key elements of the guidelines onto a single-page Brand Board, including the color palette, font systems, brand voice, and logo variations for quick visual reference.
